What a fish!!! Jacob's 9 lb plus Jack Crevalle.
|
Recently, I had Grandpa Kevin Webb and his grandson Jacob along on a super trip. Jacob's first fish seen here was a big, hard pulling, rod bending 9 pound plus Jack Crevalle caught on light spinning tackle and a top water Mirrorlure Top Dog on his first cast!! What an adventure for this neat red headed junior angler.
He and his grandpa had doubles on time and time again.{%%image_id=48%%)Blue fish and Jacks were caught all morning on topwater plugs, one after another until Jacob got tired. Then, we took a break and went back catching some more.
There is nothing like a child's smile from ear to ear, laughter and shouts, while holding a rod bent double and the drag screaming with a big fish on the line.

Capt Ed's new fishin' buddy-Jacob....
|
Here is a picture of by newest best fishin' buddy Jacob.
The trout bite has been great!! The last couple of trips have limited on these spotted, head shaking, great tasting fish. Along with redfish and plenty of spanish mackerel, the trout and bluefish and jacks have been outstanding.
Come on out and spend a day on the beautiful, pristine, clear Homosassa flats. Fish comfortably in our new 24 ft customized Carolina Skiff as we skim past mangrove islands and cays, in search of the hardest pulling fish in saltwater!!
Drop me an email or call to book your next trip. And don't forget about our popular gift certificates... They make great Christmas and birthday presents and are good for a year.
